16" Silent Check Valve Retrofit in Water TowerHartford, WI - RMS was called upon to review a sticky situation retrofitting a 16” Globe Style Check valve. After reviewing and consulting with the tank manufacturer Landmark Tank, the job took priority and was scheduled. The sticky situation was the valve was about 8’ overhead in a confined area where only ladders a hoist would work. 10 Valves Inserted on Asbestos/Cement (A/C) pipeHighland, IN – What do you need to do when you have to offset watermain for new storm pipe. It was easy for RMS the EZ Valve insert valve was installed on either side for line control. 6” water lines with a 7.55 OD was no problem for these inserts. We averaged about an hour and a half per valve says Jim Ozimek of RMS. The EZ valve covers a wide range of OD’s and it really shined for this project. Read more |
